Welcome to our first latex fetish site review. We think that few are more recognizable on the latex fetish scene than RubberDoll, and so she is our first review. The review is divided into 7 parts. How informative/accurate is the preview, ease/comfort of the signup process, production quality, originality, update frequency, renewal process, and the overall impression. Each of these things contribute to the overall rating of the site.


Preview 5/5
The first thing that we noticed about RubberDoll's preview is that it was more than just a few pages with only a few images that you could click on. There's a full featured site with samples of the last 10 updates so that you can see what she's been up to. There are also 24 full quality images that appear to be the highlights from previous photo shoots. On top of that there is a high quality (24MB) video and some screen captures from that.

At this point even the casual observer (if anyone could casually observe this site) will see that RubberDoll is not afraid to show you just how kinky she is. She's not just a model, but a lifestyle fetishist who does this because this is who she is. Her first webpage that she put up in 1998 is still up at tripod! She looks pretty good all rubbered up there too.

There is a bio page that you can read before you sign up and learn a bit about RubberDoll and her history in goth and rubber fetish.

Even without paying, you can hit the forum and meet RubberDoll and some other folks or call her on her chat line for some one on one if you so desire. Also visitors can check out her myspace blog, or view upcoming appearances.

All said, RubberDoll has one of the most thorough previews available. From the pictures, to the videos, to even personal contact, you'll know what's on the site and what you can expect.

Signup Process/Price 5/5
The monthly price at RubberDoll.net is $24.99. Based on the number of updates and the quality of the site, this is slightly below the average and what we would consider to be a good deal. With 7 or 8 photosets and 2 or 3 videos a month, this is $2.50 an update. If you don't have the green for a subscription, individual photo sets can be purchased for $6.99 at the photo store.

RubberDoll.net uses CCBill, a reliable, discreet billing company that is used by a variety of vendors on the net. As with any credit card processing company there are complaints against them, but there aren't that many for a company that has been in business for 10 years this June. CCBill is based out of Temple Arizona, and the Better Business Bureau lists them as not having an unusual number of complaints for their industry and are timely in their responses and resolutions.

The Signup process is quick and access is instant. There is also a 1-900 signup option for customers in the US. The credit card information is taken over a valid secure connection on CCBill's servers and there are no certificate errors. The security certificate is provided by Thwate, one of the top certificate providers in the business.

Quality of Production 5/5
We randomly picked a few videos and image sets over the last year (OK… one or two with rubber uniforms in them may not have been entirely random). The first thing that struck us was the size of the videos. No grainy YouTube peering at the screen here. Videos are over 100MB (with smaller versions available for lower speed connections) and they can be maximized and look simply excellent. The second thing that was a pleasant surprise was that they had not only decent, but very good sound tracks. In the shower video we watched the music set the scene outside the shower, and then when the two rubber ladies stepped behind the glass the music faded and the sound of water striking rubber took over. There was nothing contrived about the video at all… you really felt as though this was something these two would very likely do whether the camera was there or not.

Flipping through the images we noted that there is a great variety of outfits and scenes. A lot of this is helped by the multitude of shows that RubberDoll does. If you search for her on YouTube you will find some of these samples and they are quite stunning.

Originality 5/5
RubberDoll has gone through a few stages in her look, but overall has kept much of the same image. We have to admit that we really like her current clean and smooth look. It's very attractive.

We certainly don't think that an identifiable look is a hindrance to her originality, and we think anyone else would be hard pressed to make such a correlation as well. Sets look fresh and interesting and there are some outdoor shots as well, which we all like a lot. There is a lot of work with color that is quite enticing, with the backgrounds/sets either matching, or strongly contrasting the outfits for a really pronounced look. The vivid color of many of the shots will cause you to click on them before you even really look at the women carefully.

There are some interesting props that get used and some… very large props as well. Let's just say that no women in our personal experiences has ever even pretended to put something that large inside of themselves.

You won't be left wanting for something new; RubberDoll will deliver fresh content on a regular basis.

Update Frequency 5/5
This is always a concern of anyone subscribing to a site. Are you going to get fresh content often enough, or are you better off just subscribing once every six months or so. RubberDoll's site definitely doesn't disappoint. In her bio she indicates that they've updated every week since 2000, and based on the sheer number of photo sets put up, we believe it. There's no other way to put it than you won't be disappointed.

Renewal 5/5
There isn't a renewal discount, or a 3, 6, 12, etc… month package discount, but at $24.99/month for the amount of content you get we can't imagine expecting a better rate. To be honest, the same rate for each month seems a lot fairer to people who can maybe only afford to purchase a single month every now and then. Additionally, cancelling with CCBill is easy and in our experience has never been a problem.

Overall Impression 5/5
Simply put, RubberDoll's site is top notch, and she is without a doubt one of the gold standards for fetish models in the industry we've actually given 5/5 in every category because we only have one complaint and that is something that is more of a personal preference. We at the LatexHub like to see more latex covering the body, especially the breasts. We're not alone, but there are plenty of folks who like RubberDoll's bare breasted with the nipple tape look as well, so it wouldn't be fair to dock any points for that. Not to mention we're just a bit scared of her… you can tell that she wouldn't hesitate to take the Hub over her knee if we didn't rate her well (like she did to Slavegirl Anna Rose).

Mind you… it may be worth pulling a point off somewhere to see if she would.
